The PC are delighted to confirm that the MUGA, trim trail and playground are now open for use.

Please however be aware that users must adhere to the guidelines below. This signage has been placed on all entrance doors to the MUGA and playground and around the fences.

Playground

  • The equipment is not sterilised or washed down daily but users are welcome to clean the equipment before use
  • All users of the play equipment should ensure they comply with COVID-19 Secure guidelines to help avoid risks of transmission.
  • Anyone using playgrounds should take particular care to wash their hands before and after use or use hand gel and avoid touching their face.
  • Children should be supervised, by a responsible adult, at all times, to maintain good hygiene and social distancing
  • Please do not attend or use playground if you or anyone from your family have any signs or symptoms of coronavirus
  • Maximum of 12 people in the playground at any one time – Please return at another time if the playground is full.
  • DO NOT gather outdoors in a group of more than six people from different households; gatherings larger than 6 should only take place if everyone is from just two households
  • It is prohibited to consume food or drink within the playground.
  • Please take any rubbish home or dispose of it in the nearby litter bins

MUGA

Maximum of 6 people from different households at any one time in the MUGA in order to minimise the transmission risk of COVID-19

Please be mindful that other people might want to use the MUGA so limit time to half an hour if other people are waiting

Whilst waiting in adjacent space to use the MUGA please keep a 2m distance

Trim trail

Please use the equipment in a one way system, following the arrows on the boards, to avoid meeting others half way round

  • The trim trail is not sterilised or washed down daily but users are welcome to clean the equipment before use
  • All users of the trim trail equipment should ensure they comply with COVID-19 Secure guidelines to help avoid risks of transmission.
  • Anyone using equipment should take particular care to wash their hands before and after use or use hand gel and avoid touching their face.
  • Children should be supervised by a responsible adult, at all times, to maintain good hygiene and social distancing rules
  • Please do not attend or use playground if you or anyone from your family have any signs or symptoms of coronavirus
  • Users are encouraged to bring their own towel and hygiene products to wipe down the equipment
  • Consumption of food or drink is not permitted
  • DO NOT gather outdoors in a group of more than six people from different households; gatherings larger than 6 should only take place if everyone is from just two households
